    Yep, it is.

Stuff like the early hot Pulsar hatches & unmolested GTS or GTSt Skylines are going for stupid money already.

I might be missing something, but seems a bit steep for something in unknown condition, of unknown ownership....

The expensive bit to get it on the road again will be Re-Vin.

I just did a check on Rego status. It's still in the system.

I rode a mint low km one recently that a guy paid $5k for and it was horrible after getting off a ducati monster. Underpowered, heavy and cumbersome. Although I know they were highly regarded in their day, they really ought to be collectors bikes just so people dont ride them!😀😀😀

The rest of the bike tells a different story!
But, it is a starting bid of $1k and complete and restorable....

Riding instructor mate had one new. Flash git.

I had a CBX550 at the time. Which I thought was great. Inboard discs were slated by all the magazines . Took it in to WMC for tyres. Poor apprentice took hours to work out how to change the tyres. How he moved onto some other career.

Pretty much I could take wheels off in not much more time than standard bike. Only trouble for the hard of thinking.

It's a honda. Restorations are overrated. If it runs and passes a WOF ... what's the problem .. ???

Yep - I've had similar experiences - I suspect what you've said above would apply to a lot of machines we saw/lusted after when we were younger. Time's a funny old thing
