It counts as an offence against something...you need a quickshifter my son....

Last time I was pulled up it was a short interesting bit of up and down on the way home from work. I was on a big trailie and enjoying it. Nekminit, lights and siren. Pull over and sit for a moment watching the cop approach, fizzing and already snarling at me for excessive speed. Then I pulled the helmet off...
And the old grey cunt under it turned nasty, asking if I'd actually exceeded the 50kph limit - ah, no, - So why pull me over ?
Got a mini lecture about riding responsibly to which I asked if he had a dad or granddad who rode - and would he give that lecture to them ?

He fucked off quietly in the end and i finished my ride home a little happier....

Wish I still had that bike. RM370 roller with a GS400 twin squeezed into it.

Yeah have a quickshifter. Must learn to clutch it up. Seems like mechanical butchery, must practice on the dirtbike, but that just needs throttle in many gears.
Don't you look at my accountant.

The first times I got pulled over was from a cop following me all through town (when I was but a youngling). A solid 20 minutes, right on my ass the whole time. And I'm talking, back streets.
I lived out in the country at the time so as I was leaving town heading out into the country he finally pulled me over. "Licence please." Gave him my licence. He checked every fucking inch of my bike. We didn't say a word to each other beyond him asking for my licence. I didn't go a single km over the speed limit the whole time he was following me, I had my rego and wof, nothing wrong with the bike. He went back to his car, sat there for like 5 minutes. Eventually came back, gave me back my licence and left.

Every other time I've been pulled over it's been nothing but pleasant friendly conversation. That first cop just didn't like the idea of some 17 year old riding around on a ninja I guess.

It's hardly abusive to hoist off the clutch. Merely a short slip and away...unless you're on an RVF400. Had to get that bastard to the balance point before the clutch was fully engaged.

Yeah I can do that from slow speed but not game to try from higher gear/higher speeds.

Silliest bike I rode was 1100 Tuono. 3rd gear throttle right up through 100. On a closed road of course officer.

Meh will keep at it on the dirt bike.

Runs well everything works as it should and can be started although new owner will need to get a new battery im pretty shaw it has electric push button start but because it needs new battery kick start gets it going

Probably worth it for that previously unknown feature.

This is repulsive. 53,000k and not iconic by any stretch.

    How much?
