I'd love one to park next to the 996 but this guy doesn't know how old the belts are or when they were last checked (meh, easy enough to tension or change yourself) and also the comment about "the paint is not that great but can be expected being 18 years old".. Yeeeeah pretty sure they ain't the original fairings and paint, buddy! Also, I'm curious as to where the original mirrors are and indicators/why they aren't on there.. I suspect they got fucked in the same stack which wrote off the original fairings, requiring the cheap chinese MotoGP reps to replace them.

It's a shame to see something which started life as a special, expensive thing turn into.. That..

I think you are right about the fairings.

They're supposed to look more like this kind of shape:

Sure, it's a real work of art!

He says the previous owner has put on a Ninja tail fairing? Looks more like an '03-'05 R6 tail to me..

They mould in this round bit which is where one of the exhausts were on the 211-V as just a bit of plastic and it looks shithouse IMHO haha. That's one of the reasons why I like the one I listed above, they've actually relocated the exhaust.. Headlights still look crappy though.
The new kit that Tyga have out for the NC30 and NSR looks bloody amazing. A lot cleaner than their old offerings.

6 yr old competition bike. No suspension work and obsolete.

Now expense spared. Or normal maintenance. Semantics.

Yeah the tail is a lot more minimal and curves to follow the lines of the bike, it doesn't have all the gaudy rubbish that the other Tyga kits have. The headlights are a little too futuristic looking for me, but miles better than the older kits which have the headlights way too close together.

Eh, I'm still running with OEM looking best with NC30's and NC35s... I mean, you have a wee baby RC30/45, why the fuck would you change that? :P

The NSR I think looks the biscuits. But a quick read reveals those lights aren't road legal. It would be a risk as if you didn't get through the WOF, well, then what? Won't find anything to replace them. Retain a whole std fairing, brackets lights etc for each WOF? What a faff.

They look good but they also look good bone stock. Who needs fancy fairings when you have a single sided swingarm that looks that sexy?
