There is a boat tractor in Mangonui with a Nissan V8 in it. Man that thing sounds cool!

Saw an interesting ad yesterday but can't find it now. There is a 2016 Aprilia RS-GP for sale, 200,000 Euros. It's not an RCV or an M1 so it may not have had the seat warmed by a winner of multiple world championships. Whether that price is optimistic or not I have no idea, I'm not in that market.

Found a reference. Gresini are the vendor, it was Alvaro Bautista's bum that warmed the seat?

It's cute and all there, but it will always be a 250 and just as expensive to restore.

Patina just means; a bit fucked. Not totally, but. . .

These are dreadful little things and you can be sure that no competent attempt has been made to make it run properly with no airbox and that fall-off muffler fitted. And it's not finished. And the throttle sticks. He says that it's only the cable . . Anyway.

Price reflects money spent it says.

    Not what it's worth.

We've all seen Allen Millyard's "how to's" on making these bigger by adding cylinders. His latest is a 400 S3 with four cylinders. Like all his stuff it looks factory and goes perfectly.

You could do that to it. You own a hacksaw I take it? How hard can it be really?

Extra cylinders on Kawi triples is always a good idea.

But do you really want more SR250 anything?

Actually didn't Yamaha make a Virago 500? Bet it is 2 SR250. . . Search image. . Yeuck! Kinda could believe that it is.

I like the idea of the first part of the process with a saw. . ,

Yep. Add another 150cc cylinder to make an SR400. Better yet, make the additional cylinder 2 stroke and then it will be a hybrid and qualify for a govt rebate.
As HDC says, how hard can it be?

Just kidding. I do like the tyres and the style they could give off under a decent platform though
