I have already offered that guy with the RD400 my SR400 and cash his way for it. I am not concerned with accruing value - I want what I wanted when I was 17. Unfortunately he declined but if one of the people who are wasting my time on the SR turn it into cash I will revisit it.

And it's not even the full power model, it's the LAMS low fat version.

I read once that if you even know what colour chartreuse is you are gay. Not sure what having wheels that colour does for his man card, but he may get points back for not being able to spell it.

How much does it cost to get it de restricted? Is it a throttle plate or an ecu tune?

No, despite what some Yamaha dealers were saying it can't readily be derestricted, it's a smaller engine with significantly less ponies.

Thanks. That's good to know. I'm keeping an eye on what sort of bikes I want to upgrade to when I get my full. I think it has 20 odd more hp too the full power version.

    Oooh, that's um. . special.

I rode a std one. Felt like every part was rubber mounted. No metal parts touching. This might actually be an improvement. Looks and good taste aside.

9k. Why sure, where's my chequebook? Think Imight have left it in the 90s. But I'll check the glovebox in case.

I have a front wheel of one of those except it has the flanged alloy rim they came with std.
They are just the things for RD' twin disc conversions. or rear disk reversions.
I always thought that the flanged alloy rims on the tx's were their only redeeming feature. (that pos doesn't even have those)

    lol.

    4 grand for a 2004 gt250 with 48,000 km's.

sure it has a nice shiny exhaust, new tires and a new shock but it's probably one of the first they ever made so probably even crapper than normal.

Any reason why anybody would buy a 600RR over a GSXR 750 for $5000 more?

Why are old Harleys so dear? Who the fuck would pay $14500 for that when a brand new one is like $18k?

I quite like the nightster but for a 2009 the absolute max would have to be $10k, right?
