Good thing the Chinese are not into bikes eh....

Saying that the guy at Carbon Garage says the Chinese are buying exotica not because they are bikes but as investment/art.

the money that is circulating in china is mad.....last couple of docos I've seen about over there, including that one Guy Martin has had airing recently showed some of the wealth being splashed about the amount of exotica they're buying as investment/ display of status is mental.
One doco pointed out it's the young money and the children of the mega rich that are fueling the big spending; they even showed some young ones who'd shown their bank balances on the net.....kids in their late teens with billions or just filming themselves burning thousands just because they can, but a lot of what would be their equivalent of our once called yuppies are buying stables of exotic cars & bikes just for a show of status.

I had the chance to buy a very nice one just before I left Brisbane for home 23 years ago. 10k it was. Still kicking myself for not bringing it home with me.

Ie. Its an abortion. When will people realise originality rules? If it was a K0 maybe you'd bother putting it back. I wouldn't, but.

Wrap them round your ankles, pull your socks up over them, THEN put your boots on. Geez.

That bike was on display a the Island Classic at Phillip Isl in February this year.
It's tidy but looking quite dated now.

Not as bad as doing a showoff burnout on the H1 outside work (several passing hot chicks ) and snagging the rear tyre on the gutter, causing the chain to break ........and go straight through the window of the restaurant you work(ed) at

Memory lane. I should have grabbed a shed load of these when no one wanted them ....

Nice original example here. I always find it odd - the seller lists a couple of cheap easy fix issues (fuel tap, tyres) - just fix them before selling!

The absolute best of the 500s to ride, without a shadow of doubt. Obviously a little tamer than the early bikes but such a great bike this should get a good $$$ easily
