Shit mate - plenty pay over a hundy thou for a bloody HSV Commy and way higher for a euro vehicle.
Casbolts have just sold a 1299 Superleggera - only two coming to NZ and 500 world wide. $128,000 NZ. The last of the last of the last top end twins. Time will tell if it is a good investment.
Drew don't know shit. He's brand racist.

I'm not surprised. I was talking about these being collectible a week back, they were a game changer - the first ones would eat the big bore bikes due to power to weight and excellent handling. You never see them on the road anymore - most are probably dead, crashed or tucked in a shed corner.
IMO a bike worthy of being collectible.
I cannot remember what the Rune sold for new in NZ - I'm pretty sure they got discounted down to $25k to get rid of them.
A bike that in theory should have been collectible.
God dam the Corbin seat on this one is vile.

not really collectible if you can't ride it. Try getting a correct front tyre for them, seller has put a rear tyre on the front which is no longer legal. This also makes them handle even more shit at low speed, and yes i have had the misfortune to ride a few of them when i was working in the motorcycle industry with both correct and incorrect tyre fitments. A B train turns better they they do at low speed, only good thing on them was the motor Honda should have offered this state of tune for the 1800 gold wing. More lift in the cams and multi port injection transformed this motor.
I wonder if any were actually sold for that price.
Can't imagine anyone would actually wear out a front tyre. I'm assuming that the rider would require grade 17 earplugs to drown out the laughing and vomiting from pedestrians.

Not my style of bike but then I've only seen one in the flesh, it was a really impressive looking beast. His mate had a Honda 1800 cruiser that was bloody near as big.
I wouldn't want either to get far from vertical.

yes you could say they have different tyres sizes, rune Front Tyre 150/60 R18 Rear Tyre 180/55 R17 1800 gold wing Front tyre 130/70-18 Rear tyre 180/60-16.
it's the front 150/60-18 which is the problem, unique to rune no other motorcycle runs this size. this is a great Honda trick running weird tyres sizes, try getting PC800 tyres same issue weird size next to no choice.
