It is kinda cool but if you were going to make something like that, surely you could start with a Burgman or something...

It's sort of a thing in parts of the USA. The ones I've looked at were mostly 125+cc. Ruckus and Zuma scooters usually

exactly... popular enough for chinese clones to clone a fully "kitted" one for 1/4 the price :-P probably was fun to put together but at the end you'd be standing back going shit that was a money pit and now I dont want it...

That scooter needs a custom carrier for that block of wood. He says he is selling this so he can begin his next project, the mind boggles.

The next project probably entails hire purchase of a new CB500 to remain deathly std after this exercise, - bar petrol, and topping up the indicator fluid.

Another one. I don't know man, I just don't see them as a $10k collector bike....

I need to Google what the special had over the standard - maybe carbs that worked properly?

These are lovely, sought after and becoming increasingly collectible (often reaching original purchase price). It has had thousands spend on goodies, but as we know you really get that value back.

Going by the comments and interest I am quite wrong again. Be interesting to see what it goes for.

I though those were a pretty lame attempt back then. That one however looks great.

30k is a large wedge to spend and not get a new bike.

    Mind you 66k is worse.

Have to admire this guy for sheer pigheadedness, at least a year on and still not asking a sensible price.

He's probably old enough to shave by now.
