Carbs wheelie just fine right up to the subframe scraping.
It's stoppies where they can come unstuck. My FZR would starve for fuel with the back wheel up, then it would be a cunt to start. Bit embarrassing with an audience, so I never really worked on my stoppie game.

When we lived in Riccarton when Wigram was an airbase they fairly routinely landed and took off from there.
