All sorts of interesting bikes on it, all the BSA range, Diesel Pig went through the process and got the Suzuki T350 added to it, the Beta300 range is also approved

Any modification that increases power to weight ratio and it is no longer LAMs eligible although under 250cc are allowed full exhausts and tuning

There's also a fair few bikes I've seen advertised with obvious frame mods which should have certification

Yeah it's always been a larf that the NC35 is LAMs but the NC30 isn't. Obviously it fulfills the criteria of claimed power to weight ratio.

Ha! Beta 300RR approved, but my XTrainer with same engine but slightly lighter, not so. Actually with std pipe is about 1/2 the power.

I only did that because it annoyed me that when I had a looked through that same List for LAMS bikes it had T500s and T250s Listed and the T350 is right between those two in power to weight. So I e-mailed nzta to whinge and they e-mailed me back that if I could prove that, They would include it in the list. As I had the factory manual for it, I scan the Title page and spec page e-mailed them to the nzta. When they e-mailed me to let me know it was on the list I was so pleased I printed out the e-mail, framed and hung it above where I park my T350.

Government agencies are often fun to play with, A while ago I laid a complaint with the advertising standards authority as there was an advert saying '30% of all men suffer from premature ejaculation'
Basically I said it was anything but suffering, after all when you're eyes are rolling back in your head, your toes are curled up and you're pumping population paste it is anything but suffering.
Got a letter back saying my complaint had been upheld and advert removed.
I was the first of a few to complain about the same advert, it was for another reason it was withdrawn however.

I think this is what 'those listings' had in mind when they figured they could do similar and started unbolting large chunks off their clunker.

Then they typically run out of competence.
You'd have to see it but on my phone it looks well executed. Not my thing but have at it as they say.

Yeah. IIRC mine cost $1750.00 new but unless restored it would be looking very sad by now. Something like this would be infinitely prefereble. Not for me though, for somebody else.

There are some that cruelly say that SR250s are miserable little puss buckets...

Personally I think they are being too kind.

Some great Otago scenery in there
I watched battletruck the other week, that CX reminds me of the bike in it
It also had cliff from cheers in it as some post apocalyptic macgyver/a team fabricator.
I remember my father made a model of the truck from some sort of traveling thing that went with the movie release premiers.
