Another scammer

I recently advertised a car for sale on Gumtree.
Got a txt from a bloke ,, saying he was working on the kupe site
cant use cell fone could I email him
so I did, we settled on a price, and he said he would put the money in my acc.
then I got an email from paypal, saying the money was there. it looked very genuine
now he wants me to send a $1000 to realease the money. to some chow bloke
did a bit of research, and found out this bloke has been scamming people all over the world..
he normally picks on cars. bikes. boats. caravans
what can I do to stop this prick?

Tell him you need $500 to release the $1000 to him

Do nothing, move on with your life. You can't stop this stuff, you can just waste a lot of time trying.

Only stupid people get caught by these scams anyway.
