    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crim...et-out-of-jail

Why did they even bother? one year for fracturing both arms and legs on a baby?

For fucks sake what is the NZ justice system up to?

I usually just get angry at stuff like this, but, jesus christ.
I don't even know what to say to that. incredibly lenient, especially as this sounds like there wasn't just one, out of character incident, influenced by other factors, sounds like sever abuse was ongoing to the poor child.

If he has learnt then maybe OK .. but it sends a really bad message to other abusers ... you only get a year in jail ...

Fuck him. He did it multiple times. 2 1/2 years for each separate offense sounds more appropriate.

Attack a member who has a prominent standing in the community most likely. Or fiddle the dole.

Give him his second chance, but if he commits any other form of assault, put a bullet in his head.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
