Can yer post a pic of the CDI unit... A lot of Honda's at that time used the same CDI..
XR/XL & CB range were the same unit... the 4cyl used 2 units..
is it about the size of a match box cast in alloy with a bolt flange on one end...

90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...

Maybe go to the likes of Ron Ayers website and compare part numbers between models.

Go to a Honda dealer and check out options / availability / prices of new one's ...

Better than getting 20+ year old one's that were working ...

Genuine Honda one available from David Silver Spares in UK, not cheap though: https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/...8/part_112548/

Honda part # 30400-415-015 if you want to Google it and wade through the results you might find one cheaper. Ebay has used OEM Honda and some new aftermarket ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_od...nitor&_sacat=0

You could also try Econohonda in Te Aroha: http://www.econohonda.co.nz/Contact_Us.html
