i reckon shes guilty as sin.....the whole family is bent............in my opinion her cry for them to check the check in weights of her bags at sydney and then bali was her out if she got caught........obviously they would be different if someone else stuffed her bag but.......that doesn't mean she wasn't a party as to what was going on......i think the pot was destined for the benefit of other aussie tourists who would rather deal with aussies than risk buying off locals who might dob them to the local bent cop who then takes the pot off the aussies.....takes a bribe then gives the pot back to the unscrupulous local to resell and start the cycle again...just sayin..........also the extra weight of her boogie board bag... to put it in terms we are all more familiar with...would be the equivelent of adding 14 cans of Tui beer to her bag..........and she didn't notice......yeah right

If the bag was tampered with by baggage handlers after she checked her luggage in there would be nothing to support the assumption that she was in on the deal.

as i said....just my opinion............seems she was quick to come up with the weight theory in her defence but failed to notice an extra 4.2 kgs when she picked up her bag.......really?

I never followed the whole case, but from what I have read recently,

There was some kind of operation going down in the Australian airport on the day of her departure, and surprise surprise there is NO video of the baggage etc??? Of course people at the top would have known this operation was going down in the airport on the day, and what better way to get rid of the pot than dump it in some else's luggage to get it off sight and outa the country, WHITE collar crime is huge as we all know!


Re the weight thing, Can some show me the wording she used in her deffence regarding the weight please??

I understood Crashers comments about noticing the weight diff your self, but she may have held more than one bag in her arm at the time of collection, and also she may not have noticed the diff due to be either silly/tired/pumped up about her holliday etc


Re saying she IS/WAS a drug trafficker due to her family history is so small and narrow minded ( Yes it would make authorities look) but any one that seriously believes this be true, may as well have me prossocuted for drug dealing also, as I have smoked pot, and I have known people in the past that have transported drugs around the world, and I do know people who are in prison still today for growing major amounts of Marijuana and lived in house years ago with a drug dealer of Pot.

Should I say good bye to my family now?

This was a case of we can make the shoe fit i feel, if a small % of the money spent on conviction her was spent on Chasing Chemicall drug dealers etc, it would have been much healthier.
