Angry 111 Swines - Useless Pigs

    House got burgled today.

    REALLY BADLY.

A-holes only took a few easily replaceable things but EVERY draw, cupboard, shelf, storage place has been completely overturned and the house looks like a bomb has gone off.

My 15 year old twin sisters were the first to arrive home back from school at 3:30 and they looked around and called dad immediately - he said I'm on my way call 111 and get some help - don't want two 15 year old girls alone at home in such conditions as this is the 1st time something even remotely like this has happened......

DAMN 111 OPERATOR CALLED VERONICA answers, quizzes them about what happened and then tells one of my sisters to stay on the phone and get the other sister to go out and look for any suspicious person and follow them to see what they are doing??? Never says that any cops are on there way - just continues to give them instructions....what is this nancy drew??

As usual no sign of any of the fucken pigs probably too busy to come to check on 2 rather worried 15 year olds alone in a ransacked, upside down house......

Luckily my dad managed to come home in time. Then got that FUCKEN BITCH VERONICA back on the phone and gave her a piece of his mind.... being from southern africa he knows what happens when people try approaching a burglar if there are any around - he's seen slit throats/ sedated/beaten/shot guard dogs and .... and this is supposed to be a professional bloody emergency service person.......

Jesus effing Christ- can't believe this level of crime in our area...this ain't no smash and grab - they must have taken at least 15 minutes to make the mess they have done..

SOMEONE SHOULD FIND THOSE "TO CATCH A THEIF" PROGRAM F*CKERS AND BASH THEM FOR EDUCATING OTHERS ON HOW TO COMMIT BURGLARIES.

No wonder the police keep losing respect here.....

Fuck that sucks mate. At least everyone is safe, and the stolen goods can be replaced. Maybe your sister should have said 'yeah I can see him, looks like he's got a gun - - oh I think he's seen me...' Might speed up response times.

[puts on flak jacket as no doubt someone will say that's a stupid thing to do, wasting police resources etc. Maybe so. But what say the burglar was outside or maybe in another room, would you want your 15yr old daughters/sisters alone in that situation?]

Fuck man sounds like you got a bit of a shitty night... condolences to you and the family.. sucks when some creep(s) have been through your stuff.

The times we got burgled back in west auckland we learned that if you say 'i think they have weapons/I think I can see weapons' if you catch a glimpse of them the cops are there in a couple of minutes.

Use that to your advantage so they drop the radars and come to proper crime.

Maybe they busy investigating why some poor fella died when a brick hurled threw his car window and smashed him in the head driving along the motorway. Maybe they busy investigating a home abuse...maybe they pulling up some drunk driver. Who knows but maybe its time to vote! No one died at your burglary.

Live in Auckland ......but dont call them names JSG you have no idea. I for one will never lose respect.

That sux man. Hope they catch the bastard. At least what they took can be replaced.

Should never have told your sis to follow the guy if she sees him.

Home abuse is understandable..... the brick is a past event and should be left to the detective/investigators part of the police force.

Responding to a distress call from two shaky 15 year old girls (with actually not a lot of real world incident experience) would I thought be a high priority jobs for the cops who patrol our neighbourhood -and yes I've seen the cars driving around the place. Hidden behind areas which are common speed traps.

But hey what do I know right ??

    - and as far as respect goes - we all know what I'm talking about...... the fact that the cops have reached a stage where they have to pick which crimes to respond to.... the complete lack of faith the public has about their response times.....the fact that they are facing such a crisis with staff numbers......

These things don't happen overnight you know

I think our current police force - the bloody suits and upstairs fuckers should be

I have the greatest respect for all the foot soldiers and the people out on the street - in this harsh world the police, firemen and ambos are the closest things to guardian angels that we have in times of crisis.

However the scoundrels in high places have really screwed things up...

Can the cops here honestly tell me that things are better now for them than in the past?? I'm not talking about them doing thier daily duties - I'm talking about their political/official/bureacratic pressures and general conditions.

dude, /me serious for a moment (yes, rare i know).

Stink about your property and rights being violated. Angry you is. Understand. But perhaps the THIN blue line should not be your target? You alluded to "scoundrels" - are they not the dirtbag crims in this case and most cases involving crime??

Soz, gotta agree with the Duck of Madness on this one.

And hey, at least they left yer PC huh?
Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

Not too pissed about the burglary itself, shit happens - life goes on, that's what insurance is for and no one was hurt that's important.

What exactly does the Thin blue line mean?? I'm pissed of at the current state of affairs and feel the guys upstairs are to blame. That 111 operator was so stupid giving out that advice, someone that ignorant should not have such a important job. The NZ police force was very highly reputed before and world famous for being able to do their job without firearms, now days we keep hearing all this crap... You saying there is all this smoke but no fire underneath??

Burglaries can potentially be very dangerous. One of my dads friends wife had her throat slit in Zimbabwe - this was back in the early 80's when the place was posh and rich and this was in a gated community. We had professionaly trained guard dogs (not household pets) who were seriously attacked by thieves - mate that advice given by that 111 operator was pure bull kaka. In this age of P addicts it's actually......... ahh damn it what can I say that hasn't been said before......

Nevermind, we're all good and that's the main thing. Now got to go clear my bed so I can sleep. Thanks for the words of support - all of you make sure you have good safety at your homes.

Right - take your blinkers off and read my post just before your post.

You are being incredibly naive here in my personal opinion.

Anyway - got to be up in 6 hours for work - take it easy and don't stress out too much, there's more to life than this.

JSG totally understand man your pissed. hell guys i would be too. if they were my sisters i would be spitting tacks big time.

hate to say it though. don't take it the wrong way but this isn't south africa.
although we still have the humans here that are more than capable of doing the damage.

man it aint that safe here to have 15 year old girls home alone. dude what's happening. you guys are really trusting.

and that buglary tv show is showing people how vulnerable they are. not to show how to break into houses. they allready knew how to do that to start with. but how to secure your home is better.

but overall i would be pissed at the police too for not coming. too me that is still their job. the only problem is when would they come? and how do we speed it up.

    feel for you mate.
last week a shop here in town was burgled at 2 am and the owner came and rung 111 they told them to ring the local police in the morning.
the owner was a female and wanted to go and check the damage the operater told her that the oofenders are probably gone.
anyway the owner called the police station in hawera direct which is manned 24/7
2 cops were out there pronto.
    .
i feel for everyone you for your house being hit,
the 111 operators as they are told what to do, and the police also for their numbers are declining but their workload increases.
most of the cops i've meet are good people always going to have a few tossers but thats like any job.

its a bummer mate but hey no one was injured,

    hey JSG..

bummer about the break in... i would be spewing also about the advice....give ya sisters a big hug!!!! the will need it..(wishing i was 25 years young.. i could be doing the hugging )

SM has a good point about you joining the cops.... not sure if i wold be up to it.. but they sure like to suck up lots of gas patroling the highways for speedsters..
i have a theroy ...if you read their propagander, they really don't need to crusie the highways... just wait untill you go over 100ks and pick up the mess... as we all know that once you pass 100ks you MUST crash there buy they would only have to go STRAIGHT to the crash site once..... save heaps of gas....

buy the way, not feeling too good ... bit of a head cold .. brain not working more than usall

    what a ride so far!!!!
