    IT200 Pulsar Coil failure

The IT seems to have lost all it's sparks and the guy who looked at it says the pulsar coil has packed it in, now Yamaha want $365 for one which is $65 more than the bike originally cost, can anyone suggest any alternatives or are they fixable?

After all the bikes only 23 years old and still got heaps of life left in it yet

Put up a query at http://www.vmx.livewire.gen.nz/ in the marketplace.
They're all old buggers who think 23 years old is just starting to be interesting.

Only just seen this. You should be ashamed of yourself.

This guy is easily the best I've heard of for coil rewinds, stator, pulsar or otherwise:

    J.Halsey Rewinds
    49 Mellons Bay Rd
    Howick
    Auckland

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Yeah I've had a few things done by this guy including a RZ one I had rewound 2 or 3 times by our local guy until I found John.

Try a farm bike type wrecker. they might hasve one. most places like more work hardly wreck many dirtbikes. but I have managed to salvage a few parts form the bins. give Atomic a call! ( we are closed this saturday by the way because of the boss travelling to a important race meeting)
