question answered. He is untouchable. Unless Mary boots him for a young, well endowed, six pack ab, spiritied "conversationalist". Shirley there will be some volunteers in the KB population.

Bet she is even keeping up his golf club membership so that she can kick him out of the house and Juan can orally pleasure her. She hadn't had an orgasm since 1956. Until last week.

They're probably religious. And have some internal justification as to how its all someone elses fault.

The real criminals in this country are people of this guy's ilk ... it's called growing the business!

Just like expecting rabbit boards to exterminate rabbits ... it's their rice bowl FFS!

Some Lawyers go on to become Judges ... so what could possibly go wrong?

If he hadn't been exposed this guy might have become one of them!

So??....can we start cullling the lawyers off now or wot!...the bloody maggots!!

    ...funny story for ya's

I had a lawyer "try" to charge me over 5 grand for "legal services"...funny thing is, he lost all the paper work and screwed the case up royaly!...BUT...so did the other guys lawyer, we ended up settled the matter over a beer an Yak. (against our lawyers..."advice")
I then got a bill for over 5g...so I took four very large!...very scary! looking mates up to the lawyers office...to see if he would sign a wee letter stating that he's bloody useless, and will naturally wave all fees.

...he signed it pritty damned fast! ....And I never heard from the maggot ever again )

    Wanna reduce REAL crime...

Would be the biggest clean out of criminals in NZ history!!

If you or I were made bankrupt today, how long do you think it would take before the baliff was knocking on the door demanding your bike, your car, your tools, sports equipment etc had to be sold. I always understood, they could virtually clean you out.

What can they take or make you get rid off?

One of my best friends is a Lawyer - so I give Lawyers a fair amount of Flak - but consider this:

The Police charge someone (and ya know, the police have done their usual 'thorough' investigation with no half arsing )

The guy (who is probably not the smartest cookie in the Jar, afterall, he got charged by the Police!) stands up in court, with no lawyer and does a crap job of defending himself (he isn't a lawyer) and gets sentanced.

Suppose that guy is innocent and would have been proven so by even the most dim-witted of lawyers.

Yes Lawyers can be legalisled criminals, but the reality is that Law is complex, and as such has loop holes that the clever people can take advantage of for their own means. Without lawyers however, the Smart people would still get away with shit (as they currently do) but those that aren't clever would get screwed even more than they currently do.

shit you own. Except tools of trade and a car worth such and such amount IIRC. look up insolvency.govt.nz

the point here is this guy owns nothing. His wife does. and he is bankrupt thus untouchable. As long as he keeps onside with her, he is golden.

If a manufacturer of wheelbarrows kept making and distributing wheelbarrows to a diminishing glutted market for wheelbarrows they would be riddiculed and broke!

Why then is it OK for Universities to keep on churning out lawyers year after year after year? (The taxpayer subsidises them?)

If crime "was" being reduced they would have no work!

Major incentive for criminal lawyers to "grow the business" and the temtation to actually join their prodigies must be enormous $$$$$$$$$$!

a Law graduate is not a lawyer. I'm barely a lawyer and I've been doing it for 20+ years.

Lots of law grads have no desire whatever to be what you think of as a lawyer (in private practice at a firm dealing with private client matters). And who can blame them? A law degree is a toolbox. Primarily it is a way of framing questions and dealing with problems.

Bear in mind too that after you do the post-grad training you get admitted to the bar. There is a time and cost impost there. What that does is entitle you to call yourself a lawyer. Then you have to get a job, work your way up, do more post grad training and then become a principal in a firm. Then you get your hand on the cheque book. Theres a a fairly high attrition rate there.

"criminal lawyers" usually means lawyers who deal with criminal matters. You cannot call Castles a criminal lawyer because: a) he has not been convicted of a crime, and b) he is not a lawyer anymore.

There are plenty of things you could call him but that isn't one.

Nah, there's no oversupply of lawyers. Colin Craig is going to hire them all. That's what he's going to fill his cabinet with right?

you also pay for a lot of solo mum benefits, treaty settlements, subsidies to big business, and the costs of selling taxpayer funded assets. Doubtless your umbrage is expressed and your jimmies rustled also.

Mmmmm... well the education I allegedly got on your taxpayer dollar, is what I'll be using to pay your pension and the upkeep on your utilities when you're no longer employable, grandad. If you don't think that's a fair trade, you're more than welcome to die before you become a burden.
