    Thumbs up Kawasaki ZXR750 H1

Great reliable, tidy bike. I've owned for approx 2 years and it's never let me down.
In the last few thousand ks it's had new battery, New tyres front and rear Continental Road Attack's (from memory), new fork seals, new chain and both front and rear sprockets. Nearly a classic at 24 years old, and relatively low 64000Ks, I'm selling only because I don't want to run up the K's on it, and have bought a bike more suitable for sports/touring.
They are fairly rare, in the last 2 years I've only seen 2 up for sale on trademe.. Currently there is only 1 of the newer shape H2's which I don't think are as nice looking myself.
Feel free to TXT or Phone me on 027 467 0228.
May consider 3 grand cash plus vehicle worth 2 grand minimum

    Wink Haha

The paint on it's worth more than 2k. I took it out for a ride tonight.. I think I'll hold on to it, lardy old tourer? Sounds like you might be someone who doesn't appreciate a classic sports bike!, Aaron Slight managed to get one around Manfield in 1min and 8 seconds back in 1991.. and although I'm sure his one was tweaked, mine goes like a cut cat, and it would do well against my VTR1000 up Piecock hill, or around any track. It's worth every cent of $4500 and I'm happy to put the rego back on hold and take it out every now and then for a blast, if nobody's prepared to pay the money for it.
Personally I think my old ZXR, even though it might be 24 years old, has a bit more class than the plastic fantastic machines of today, that you can hardly tell apart.. sure they may have a digital speedo, ABS and traction control and fly around corners almost by themselves, because of their technologically advanced suspension and swingarm.. but is that what riding is really about?

Give it another 10 years it might be worth that. If it were completely original. Might.

You are obviously however completely entitled to ask what you like for it, and if you get the money tell us all to go fuck a chimp.

well I saw it, and was happy to pay $4500 for it 2 years ago, I've since travelled about 8000ks on it and spent a couple of grand on it, if I don't get $4500 or close enough to it, I don't care, it's a mint machine, and I don't really want to part with it anyway.. I have already been offered a couple of swaps worth around the $5k mark..Somebody could buy this bike for $4500, and ride it every Sunday for the next 10 years, I'd imagine, without anything major needing repair, and even if after that 10 years it wasn't worth a cent, it would have only cost them $8.65 a week plus road costs to have a great toy, peanuts!.. so go fuck a chimp

ZXR's Rule! Though I may be biased

While not as flickable as the 400 they do in fact haul ass. And my 89 zxr250a has massive performance speed and handling wise compared to newer 250cc models. Also fitted digital guages. This or the 400 is exactly what I would upgrade to (officially a fan) once my licence status improves. Price I would say is reasonable with receipts for work done and a service history. Paint looks mean.
