    Last laugh on ME!

Had to really laugh tonight. As some of you will know, I am really organised around some things. Moving house apparently is one of the things I like to be organised around. At the start of the week I made a plan of attack, even committed it to paper. This is going to happen this day, and we will eat this meal on that day, so I could plan what we needed to pack, and what we needed to live.

Today the kitchen got packed. We are only having a salad so don't need pots, and we need to eat up some stuff out of the fridge etc. Went to create and, we don't have a bowl for the salad, we don't have a grater and no condiments to flavour it with

Lucky we did not empty the fridge!

Moving house should not be this much fun!

Actually a bit worried what we wont have tomorrow now

Mix everything from the fridge with a couple eggs and drown in sauce. Makes for interesting flavours haha.

I think you should save the worry and get some subway.

    Have fun moving

Subway? Mark had that for lunch.

I would be far to, far to scared to do that with the weird shit I have in my fridge. Chinese tomorrow, we have plates, though I may get the neighbours to pick from the buffet at the takeaway so we don't have dishes

    I hate moving ... with a passion ... !!!

Then ... I got a job moving other people ... and it can be fun ...

That's if ... If they don't have a piano ... that has to go up to the second (or 3rd) floor)

Try moving houses, everything goes great, no dramas what so ever. Then on Monday, first day back at work, knock off time, what do I do? Drive back to the old place. When I get there I realise that I don't live there anymore. Duuh
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

    Haha funny story indeed....

Doubt that will happen to us though, when finish work (as of Monday) all we have to do is walk down stairs.
On a side note: It has taken us four days to pack the boxes with what have/want to take, how can burglars clean a house out in two hours?
We should have paid some low lifes $50 a piece to do it for us...

    Moving house sucks arse.

Takes 6 months to find that thing you know is in the garage somewhere, under all the leftover stuff from the house that nobody seems to want to make a decision to dump or not to dump.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I have to own up to being very ruthless this move. We wanted to downsize, and downsize we did. There are boxes marked "storage" and I hope to never look at the contents again. Bloody requirement to keep business records blah, blah! Interestingly enough the most boxes have been generated from the kitchen. Heart of the home the kitchen and it shows.

All I hope is what we NEED to use will be found easily. Frankly, I will be glad enough to have a bed to sleep in and a wine glass to drink out of tomorrow night Oh and some wine

If all else fails go and buy a set of 4 wine glasses from the warehouse/briscoes for $10, you can never have too many wine glasses.

And some paper plates and a takeaway on the way home.
