not sure if some of you read my new member post, but i bought a shitted 88 fzr250 2kr for almost nothing with intention of getting it rereged and learning about bikes
leaky forks, cut wiring, broken front frame etc

new shoes
waiting on some bearings and plugs/filter etc

Are you opening the engine or doing any checks there? i.e. compression test, looking at clutch etc?

dont really want to touch it just yet, pending availability of parts ill do a tidyup and bearings in there clearances etc thought the engine was fairly good but looks like it got fucked stem seal on no4
had been more money than anyone would ever want to spend on old 250

lotsa new fluids, gota work out why the front sprocket is like a sausage down a hallway

It lives, and still fast as everjust up and down a quiet road to try iron out the shit.
Getting a wider tire on the front has left it a little tall, sometimes juuuuust scraping on the guard
