The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Thanks for taking the initiative to organise the ride today Bruce, we had superlative weather for it!

Despite my detour to Botany Honda to fix my bike at the beginning, I was very happy to be able to continue riding and come down and meet you all before Ngaruawahia on SH22.

Good sized group today, was pleasant to meet some more KBers for the first time and ride with some familiar faces!

It was a buzz for me to see 3 Blackbirds on this ride, not bad out of the 10 bikes present, and one KB lurker turned up on his K5 Gixxer1000 which I drooled over...had to ask if I could sit on it!

The infamous 22 road was fairly dirty which covered our pretty bikes in dirt & dust, and a number of corners had gravel on them which made for some extra excitement! Most of the other back roads we rode on were in great condition, and I enjoyed the route we took back thru Mercer and onto SH2, Hunua, Bombay, Runciman Rd, back to boring old SH1.

My bike has now been washed thoroughly and the battery is on the charger...another much needed weekly riding fix accomplished!

Top Points LB for a great day & a great ride. You kept us rounded up nicely - were you a sheep dog in a previous life ??
Mind you sheep dogs don't herd you on their back legs only & do rolling
stoppies looking under their armpits to make sure you are following !!
There were some schizzy bikes there too.

Glad you guys had a good ride today, good to meet some new faces as always, spesh The Dover, mmm K5 me want, see you out thera again soon mate, what fantastic weather, dont know what i'll do if it gets any hotter though.
Road as Zed said was a little messy in places and that patch of gravel, uh yeah well came up on me pretty quick, kept it upright which is the main thing.
the back roads were in great condition though and had a good run home after leaving Mercer.
Shame Mattt and devus had to turn back 1/4 way along, got shit to do so cant blame ya, missed out on a good un, but on ya for getting out in the first place.

Hey Brutal Gixer where the hell you get up to??? becasue of you bloody blackbirds out numbered the GSXR's, .............blackbirds, wtf, never in my life have i been so ashamed, better not let it happen again.

Cheers all for the ride, till next time.

I can't recall anyone using a camera bro? I would have taken mine but my whole underseat storage compartment measuring 200x150x75mm was taken up!
