hey hey hey im not leaving 400's! they are the way of the future! *cough* yeah hmm, right. But just wanted a small turn on the R6 which i must say is real nice to ride, loved it completely, but the more obvious reason i was out there for was to ride the FZR400, which after the first session the clutch cover came off and greg had to put a washer under each spring because the clutch was slipping, then also carbs came off and more minor jetting had to be played with. Still messing with front suspension and other such minors but it feels all good and a day out there riding without crashing is a good day for me so im happy.
there are 5 brand new F3 racers from Hamilton alone this season
Gixxerboy NC24, Torque GSXR400sp,DSS3 NC30, Tim NC30,Quasi GSXR400sp
So Im thinking the feilds will be fill up ?
Ive run out of fucks to give
well at least you NC30 guys ahve Boyd Honda to sort you out, the owners daughter rides an NC30 doesnt she?

get your ass down there man, need you round even if its just for entertainment.
get ya missus to bring some of her TGS friends. That will make it a bit more interesting. Just keep her away from those drift guys... she wanted to go for a ride last time.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
It is starting to look not good again for meWe will see... i might use it to scrub in some tyres...

I'm keen to have a go on the track, but I have only been riding for a year and a bit and have never done anything like this.
So I would probaly want advice etc, but I don't want to get in anyones way, is it appropiate for someone at my level??
ignore whats behind you (take off your mirrors, its for the bestOriginally Posted by adamww
) hold your line and dont deviate, the hardest thing for me is when im coming around the outside of you, and you stand your bike up...

Well that is just where your problem is. Dont go on the outside cause one cant see you there but when you come through on the inside you can. Cause the person hears you before you even get to the corner and he/she actualy expects you on the inside not outside.Originally Posted by Two Smoker

just hold your line, and 'run your race' so to speak, even tho it's 'not a race'.. pfft..
anyway, it's the responsibility of the over-taker to ensure a safe pass, not you as the over-takeeeeeeee. Just hold your line. The worst thing you can do is become unpredictable, and as soon as you start worrying about what's behind, instead of infront, that's what will happen
Though you were supposed to take on the outside, not the inside on track days:spudwhat: Not that it matters as I expect to be taken any which way (as long as the passes rider does it with care)Originally Posted by enigma51

DON'T RIDE LIKE YA STOLE IT, RIDE TO SURVIVE.
It doesnt matter on a track weather its left or right as long as its done safely, definately take off your mirrors as a newbie, this way your focused on your riding and not on whats coming up behind you. Also try not to get rattled when a bike does pass you at a high speed, keep focused.
At the end of the day, its a lot safer out there than on the road so remember that and have some fun
