haha, yeh mate. Second time i've given it a good thrashing (first being over the coromandel). I think we (me and jill) could get the times down quite a bit if it had a decent rear shock - if you didnt see the rear end waving ask someone who did. I was told today by a buggy that it is 'shocking', now thats british humour for you

pretty chuffed with a 1.29 tho.

Whats your top speed by the way? I've had the ZXR up to 185 at full tit on a decent straight, i need to stop eating pies or jill is going to continue to have that weight advantage on me.

"old nail" with more horse power at the wrap than a Gixxer 1K and years and years of development with a fanatically loyal owner and rider.

Gareth: yes dude, you are doing well but it is a long and fun road ahead :P The ZXR250 should be capable of more then a RG150 esp. around pukekohe, but of course the 1:20 of TS's is as fast as they possibly go. Keep at it dude, bike looks good and if your happy racin around then alls well.

and Frosty - are you sure its not a GSX1100 you talkin about there? because in that photo to my memory that looks to be old old X motor with the square cam cover..

also what do the gixxer 1k's have HP wise? those GS1000's are only up to around 150hp, and the frames are just a bunch of handlebars welded together, it really is unbeleivable, full credit to the 60 seconds. Good to hear everybody enjoyed the day sorry i couldnt make it, and finally -
HOW DID QUASI GO?! im starting to worry and its him im getting scared of.

cheers logan. The bike has a few issues (like only getting to 180 at a stretch), its coming up on 50,000km and the clutch tends to slip a bit at full throttle, other than that it doesnt handle too flash. BUT for the meantime im gonna leave it down to learning. Jill and I will be doing the bucket thing soon so that might help to build my confidence up before jumpin on a four hundy and chasing you round in F3's
