    Suzuki GF250 1989

    Great learners bike!

    had this bike over the summer and had a blast, selling to go over seas. Must get rid of it!

    Everybody's motorcycle (when it's for sale) is the greatest example of "THAT" model ever built and still running (if it IS actually running) .. so don't be so dammed negative ...

    But ... with the LAM's legislation ... the 250cc motorcycle needs for an $800 sale is ...

    1. 12 months rego from time of sale.

    2. 6 months WOF at time of sale.

    3. A full tank of Petrol.

    4. A "Respected" motorcycle shops FULL (and written) appraisal of said motorcycle (dated no later than 7 days previous)

    With those ... you may get some interest ...

    Actually looking on trademe for $800 you're lucky to get a 20 year old rusted commuter bike with a seized engine. It seems all bikes get to about $5000 once they are 10 years old then any WoFd and regod bike regardless of how old or how well maintained is still goes for not much below $5000.

    What they ask and what they get .... are two different things. Dreamers abound on Trademe.
