Shuudup will ya christ the thing sounds pretty good.My old man bought a new one a few years back packed it up with gear threw my stepmother on the back and off up to the North isle they went for a lengthy trip round the whole isle,he had nothing but praise for the bike after the trip which is well earned coming from a bloke thats had everything from Vincents at 22 to at 74 the 1250 Bandit he currently rides at good pace.If the local Suzuki guy has one i can ride i will make a point of doing so.

Traction control is switchable, ABS isn't.
No intention to go bush bashing but was hoping for a LITTLE more than gentle gravel. Maybe as you say, time will provide the appropriate jock box.

Guess that we're unlikely to get "ideal" for 20 grand.
Get what you pay for usually and "ideal" varies from man to man anyway.

Jimmy posted some pics, and I saw one on the motorway yesterday.

If it is that simple adding a switch to your bars should be a doddle.

Based on that review I'd probably wait until the second or third year before paying the extra. Preferring a bike with the gremlins ironed out than leap into a bike with so much technology splashed across it in one hit. Let a few thousand tech whores test pilot it if you will.
