Next weekend (not this coming one), I mean the 18th and/or 19th October could be good for me, busy other weekends around that and next month may be a bit patchy for me too.
Be keen for the block but Mt Cook could be ok too. I am aware lots of people go to the West Coast for Labour Weekend races so they may not be so keen for Big Block so close to that but I will be elsewhere for Labour Weekend so I am keen.

New front tire going on the Busa on Monday so will be ready for a ride. Which ride should we do the Block or Mt Cook?

I'd be keen to try The Block if the weather god's bless us.
Mt Cook run for me is late Nov only because it's an early start on the day.

I have a dirt bike thing to do the other one once I know which day the roady ride is.

At the moment it's hard to say what the weather will be like for the weekend.
Weather Forecast has changed from yesterday, by Wednesday should have a better understanding of which day to head off.

So I'd guess depart *changed to Belfast Z Garage* about 8:45am or something? Breakfast at home first or an hour in?

I actually prefer to meet at garages to get fuel in view of all those still waiting so at least they know you're there, and food is right there too... but North is always the Peg.

So 8:45am departure I say meet at the Z Petrol Station in Belfast, corner of Johns Rd and Main North Rd to get some Coffee in the tank and fuel in our stomachs.
The next possible stop would be Culverden otherwise.
