Great ride up the inland road to Kaikoura. Was busy coming back the coastal road but excellent day.

Went on Triumph Owners ride to Bealy pub on Saturday, low traffic, minimal roadworks, pretty warm. Great ride though, met an american guy at Bealy who is going to ride the Dragon's Tail when he gets home, on a hog though, what's up with that?

    Cheers

Yes a very pleasant day out for a ride, I'm thinking about having a go at Punakaiki if the weather is good last time was such a nice trip.

Getting close to good weather time and the good rides. Riding to work each day over winter hasn't been to bad. Been very mild winter.
New bike coming soon for summer. Then some varied block rides.

Was going home from work. Guy run a red light and took me out. Luckily worst injury apart from the bike was broken wrist. Bad intersection though. My mate got killed there 6 months ago on his bike. Red light runner took him out.
I now won't use that road to go to and from work.

Yaldhurst Road and Peer Street. It's always the Yaldhurst Road traffic that seem to run the red lights.

Had a quiet run up to Cheviot the other day. Back to work on the 7th. So if weather holds out will try a run around the block.
