Todays ride to Kaikoura - awesome the weather started out foggy but was gone by Woodend. Turned out nice and warm.
Leader Rd was good but a wee bit of gravel - was posted but not all the way. Changed to 100kmh and still gravel for another km.
Had a good feed in Kaikoura and a good ride home along the coast. Traffic heavy but well behaved.
In all a great day - pity more people didnt come along. Thanks for the company Shoshoni.
Will be having a ride on Anzac day for those who dont want to go on the St John ride. Weather dependant.
Yes it was nice to get out of town for a ride, no Porsche this time unless they got pinged by those 4 cops sitting on the hill
Next ride for me is the Avon City ride this coming Sunday.
Weather doesnt look to good - anyone going on the Avon City Suzuki 3 gorges ride on Sunday?
I went along on the DR it was a good turn out about twenty of us, I didn't know anyone except one of the chaps that organized the ride.
