Still got me fucked, that in todays techno world, why can't the 'Black Box' info be streamed live to either, Boeing/Airbus or the H/O of the Airline?
With that, why can't a stream of a cockpit camera do the same??

There'd be no need to search for the fucking things!! It would probably cost less than this one MH370 search!!
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Already read about that on another site, seems quite plausible.
Especially as the GPS coordinates are not the exact ones you would get the easy way via google maps and typing in the name, but further down the island where the plane or prisoners could be detained in building etc...
Also same site the guy used image software to fully pull the exposure. Even in the dark a digital camera will still record some differences in shadows etc. The noisy as hell final image reveals an outline of what could be a hooded figure taking a selfie in a dark cell.

They were kinda, via the LIVE monitoring of the leased Rolls Royce engines in that bird. Even trucking companies have live monitoring of GPS, which leads to funny stuff when they ring up a driver to complain about him doing XXXkm/h but said he HAS to be in Gisborne by .......
The media story of the Rolls Royce satellite handshake is a bluff to end the story. Those LEASED engines are worth megabucks and would be auto monitored 24/7 and emails/txt alerts instantly to right people if fuel burn/rpms/run time/fuel consumption outside normal parameters etc

You've hit the nail right on the head.

Singapore is sandwiched between two large Islamic countries: One moderate and one potentially radical and with a huge population.

That is why Singapore was more than quick to offer a $1 bil economic relief package to Indonesia when the Asian Currency Crisis started in 1997.... while arming themselves with 20 AH-64 Apaches and Leopard 2 MBTs (182 + 30 spare), and are looking at the purchase of likely two squadrons of F-35s to supplement their existing air fleet of F-16 Fighting Falcons and F-15 Strike Eagles.

Yeah.... that's right. He may have had a hood on, but we all know it's really Captain Hook.

Did you see the one after Peter Pan got Tinkerbell to unlock the chains?

All true and all perfectly plausible.

I was also amazed how the Diego Garcia cell phone tower offers an, unmonitored or restricted, full service, including data, with no Roaming ripp-off charges.

No wonder they are all happy to stay there, living happily ever after

Well with 1500 civilian employees and contractors involved in various base operations it probably just turns into a logistics head ache to limit it.
You could have a B1b waiting to takeoff but the Lockheed contractor can't finish the software install on the flight computer because he can't phone home and get the software authentication key.
Mr Woods was IBM so he be a company phone that wont be billed till next month anyway
My truck and personal phone still worked fine when I was delivering at USAFE Lakenheath and Mildenhall.

And people say smoking weed is harmless......

10 days afterwards with an iPhone? He must have smuggled charger up his arse too. GPS doesn't work indoors I guess he must have a good size window in his cell? If he managed to pull the phone out of his ass why not take the bag off his head. Try using a touch phone with a bag over your head/blindfolded.

And lastly No doubt Diego Garcia has its own cellphone tower with a sattelite uplink controlled by DG! I don't think Vodafone will have been able to put a tower there.

Describing the size of ocean within the radius of the ' pings'

" Matthews said the detections indicate the beacon is within about a 20-kilometer radius, equal to a 1,300-square-kilometer chunk of the ocean floor.

That's like trying to find a desktop computer in a city the size of Los Angeles and would take the sub about six weeks to two months to canvass. So it makes more sense to continue using the ping locator to zero in on a more precise location, Matthews said. "

Never touched the stuff, all my ramblings are completely stone cold sober and straight... LOL
The story is the guy was involved in advanced voice activation phone systems and you can properly turn the things off if you know what you are doing and don't have too many rubbish apps installed.
GPS does work indoors, the real problem is the weak signals from satellites are easily overwhelmed by electrical noise sources/computers etc.

Well I'm picking in about 4 days well see some grainy underwater footage worthy of the the thunderbirds tv show that will alledgedly show wreckage on the floor of the ocean but will prob be some rollercoaster parts in a disused algae filled swimming pool.

Define indoors - in a wooden house with plenty of windows yes you can pick something up. In any substantial concrete/brick building (prison) with small/no windows the signals are non existent.

So the story is he somehow managed to nip to the toilet before they took everyones cellphone un-installed all his power hungry apps, wedged the phone up his arse (ouch!) waited 10 days for the right moment - presumably removing the iphone periodically to take a shit before snapping a quick selfie but not taking the time to give further information. Then the recipient of the picture immediately released it to the press putting the other guys life in danger and destroying any chance of further contact. And that΄s assuming that diego garcia let him connect to their cellphone or wifi network - you would think with a situation like that the first thing they would do is black out all non essential communications - there are up to 3000 civilian/military personnel working there - wouldn't want any of them sending reports now would they.
