Thumbs up CRASH - the movie

    http://www.crashfilm.com/

I went and saw it with my flatmates on Tuesday night. I knew nothing about it and most of the actors in it were kinda B grade (Sandra Bullock, Bendan Fraser, Ryan Phillippe, Matt Dillion) in fact Don Cheadle was the only actor among them that I would have given real kudos to as I had recently seen his stirling performance in Hotel Rawanda http://www.hotelrwanda.com/intro.html but, I had heard that CRASH was good...I wasn't dissapointed.

My first words would "WOW!" followed by "Go and see it." Without giving the story away it's quite a challenging movie and it's also quite heart stopping more than once...I'm not one for crying at movies (although I did while watching Hotel Rawanda) but this almost made me cry more than once...no it's not a chick flick. It's not a nice movie with a happy, lovely story, I guess I'd describe it as gritty and challenging. I'd be interested to know what others think.

    p.s Very cool S/T too.

Sandra Bullock yes, Brendan Fraser yes,(although I loved him in Bedazzled), Ryan Phillippe I dunno...BUT MATT DILLON?? B-grade?? What about "The Talented Mr Ripley"? He's not B-grade, maybe not as famous or pretty as Tom Cruise or Rosemary Clooney's nephew...but IMHO HE can act.

Ummmmm...I think you are getting Matt Dillion mixed up with Matt Damon.
