Ended up being Goblin, SlickD & moi who went for a blat; nice series of twisties right close to town, gotta love it!

For those who know: we shot up to Mamaku, down Oturoa Rd with it's lovely quick sweepers, up Central & Jackson Rds, onto Te Waerenga then around the Lake back to mine... A bit over an hours' riding...proper good fun!

The BBQ was spat on by those ever-present clouds up yonder, but not enough to call it off...

Yeah it was a nice wee blat. I was giggling away to myself looking at SlickD's helmet, kind of distracting though, having Mr Bean watching your every move. Hopefully wee can make it a regular thing with a few more local KBers....Tony & r4q2 and anyone else?

ok next ride ideas for thursday da 19th.

1.to the bottom of the Rotomas and back to Hennessys for a pint.

2.same ride that Eman and co went on last thursday followed by a pint at Hennessys.

3.Waikite Valley (SH 30 to Whirinaki Valley road, left on to Waikate Valley road, left on to Corbett Rd, right on to Tumuni Rd which takes us back onto SH 5) and then back to, yep you guessed it, HENNESSYS!!

I'm not really bothered as to where we go as long as it's widey and is followed up by a beer at Hennessy's. So if you's have an idea for a ride let us know.

Lets keep to topic here....dont want this to go to PD...there's too much information on here.

Eman...Braemar rd is AB-FAB. LOve that rd! There's a huge woop-de-doo in the middle and if you hit it at the right speed, you can fly! There's only about 3 corners that tighten up and one bumpy bridge that you have to be careful on. We could also go down to the spring for a looksee. Any ride is a good ride though. I'm not really fussed where we go.
