    Jet bike

I want to put a jet engine on my push bike. Ideally I'd go for a turbojet or turbofan, but those are fucking expensive. Would one of these pulse jets, or 2 of them be enough for a push bike? Not to go fast, but more for the novelty.

One is plenty if it is big enough

Almost certainly not as they're for fairly light model aircraft. There's a guy in Tokoroa who builds them and I've seen a YouTube clip ages ago of one he fitted to a go-cart. Do a search and that should give you a good indicator of the size you need. This isn't the one, but the Tokoroa guy had a similar one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEEw_l9bPNY

Local New Zealand'er, Bruce Simpson, is a bit of an expert in this area and seems to love helping people.

Check out the jet powered go kart that he made. I think there is a video on his web site.

I think this is the "famous" one he made and sold.

That's right. He is a very nice chap as well. Had a few set backs, but keeps fighting on.
