Here are the photos I took. I had some trouble and turned back before the hills because of the wind only to turn back again when the sun appeared to make it the rest of the way to akaroa to catch up with the rest.

been on trademe looking at Fireblades... this is not a good sign

Just looking at the photo's it looks like you've got a ohlins in the back of yours, that has got to make it a shit load better.. the standard one I found was a bit crap.. mind you that was back when I was younger a didn't know fuck all about set-up.
