Besides, if any of us ever pissed off over seas for a working holiday, I'd be gutted if I returned to Aotearoa to find my account had been "deleted"Originally Posted by duckman

Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
I joined this site roughly 4 days after spankme released it onto the unsuspecting public. Wari and I were members of an American site and he told me that he was talking to a friend about creating the site. With only a handful of members, and myself being I think the only Christchurch member, I lost interst (I know, I know) and continued posting at the other site. I came back here regulary to check and post, but it was all mostly Auckland based. Now I'm sure glad that my account didn't get deleted as this is the only site I post at.
Hmm, OAB raises an interesting point. If you go to the members list and click on JOIN DATE, the first couple of pages are full of people who joined very early on, but have a low post count. Maybe they gave up on it, possibly because not a lot was happening? They were keen enough to join a site that had only just been created, maybe if they were given a nudge via email (assuming it hasn't changed) they'd come back and see what a great site this has become.

Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?
actually that is a good Idea TonyB
Just a wee reminder to them to say
"HELLOOO, are you there?"
But not deleting them at all.
Some of my other groups do that occasionally just to remind people they exist when things go quiet
You never know we could gain some people outa it, already started with some...cool to see!![]()

Just touching base. Move along now. Thanks.
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

How many of them are active though?
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
