apologies if you are eating your breakfast.
MTFU!!! Better to see it happen to someone else than to yourself hey!
i've been really happy with my forcefield pro l2.
light, comfy and not too hot.
i'd now suggest you the kevlar version

obviously it would be much better to have a sub4, or anyway a bp that guarantees a similar performance, but it's pretty bulky.
on the other hand i'm pretty convinced that the time has come to buy an airbag.
these are certified on the new CE EN1621.

so if it were me, i'd buy a light and fresh bp level 1 and then i'd wear a good airbag on it.
concerning hip protection, BUY it.
forcefield again has what you need...
I think the cheap back protectors are still better than nothing and reasonably effective.
I had an el cheapo one once before the design on them got all hi tech. Never had any mega crashes in mine but couple of mates did and they still here to talk about it, including on a ZXR600 that slide back first into powerpole after losing front end at about 140...
Make sure you check it fits under your leathers, they take up more space than you think, have a chunky Knox one bought in UK but too many pies/leather shrinkage so doesn't fit inside anymore!
BTW found RST are really cheap priced on their inserts and feels like good design/material.
