Has anyone heard John Key, leading advocate for the TPPA 'trade' agreement, being asked about why there is 4 times as much effort given to companies as trade?

And if tomorrow's Sky City protest turns ugly, bear this in mind.

Sheesh. Conspiracy theories suck. Not least because people do not live in reality while they believe in conspiracy. Get lives - y'all will enjoy it much more.

There are so many things demonstrably wrong with the TPPA and so many things that haven't just been unexplained but have been deliberately glossed over, or had direct questions evaded and deflected.

One of the most qualified people in NZ to talk about this, someone who has worked in this arena for years, has been directly attacked by the the man most responsible for not answering any questions, a man who routinely smears and belittles anyone not agreeing with him.

30 chapters in the TPPA - just 6 about trade. What are the other 24 covering? Why has this question never been publicly answered?

NZ will benefit by a projected 1% increase in GDP, in over 10 years time. Of course, that 1% increase included greater income from dairy exports, a market which is currently tanking. No-one appears to have publicly commented on this.

Instead of focusing on details, I'm trying to talk in sweeping generalities. And it still stinks.

Does this really sound like a good idea?

So why would the government sign an agreement that is obviously going to fuck New Zealanders over?
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Good question. I don't know. It makes no sense.

My background is science - I question everything I cannot prove or is logically acceptable. I do not blindly believe that people I don't know have my best interests at heart, especially when they are so evasive and unwilling to answer questions (not involving national security).

Probably because John Key expects to be richly rewarded by those who will truly benefit from the agreement.
