Thanks I had a great time none the less. It's a pity that I have to work both days this weekend as I won't be able to join everyone on the coro ride. Hope we can get those photos from that photographer soon as they looked really good

What an awesome day, I had heaps of fun. It was my 1st track day so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Took me pretty much the whole 1st session to work out which way the corners went and approximate braking zones. My times slowly got better over the course of the day and I really started to get the hang of it in the last session. Certainly wouldn't say no to a few more ponies down the back straight, I was pretty much at full speed halfway down it.
I'm really impressed with my metzeler Z6 tires, it took nearly full throttle out of the hairpin before they would start to get a bit squirmy. Not bad for 'sport tourer' tires i though.

Would be awesome if we could get hold of those photos they look really good on the guys laptop.

Nice to meet some of you guys, can't wait to do it again.

what a bloody awesome day! weather looked a bit dodgy in the morning but headed out to the track any way , apart from a chilly south westerly the track was dry , a little muddy from the "drifters" (no not a 60's rock band)
first time i had the zx10r out there , been about a year since i was there last , gave the guy on the akrapovic shod r1 a run for his money , last session took my girlfriends r6 out for a damm good flogging , got rid of her chicken strips , she is quite chuffed to have tires that make her look like a hard bitch racer now hahahahahah
great bunch of guys out there too , who was the poor guy who come off on the cbr600? atleast he wasn't broken just his bike! and as for the guy on the fxr150! good on ya mate! next time we swop bikes for a session huh?

scooterboynz, loved your knee sliders. Didnt manage to capture it on video/photo tho as you were probably doing about 160kmh as went round the corner on to the main straight. mmm SPARKS!

that wind was a killer when i took the FXR out, got 120kmh on the back straight and 136 on the front straight (with wind behind me)... still that bikes a lot of fun, just needs a shorter track! or more power.

will hopefully see you guys out on sunday for the coromandel ride.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
