Spotted this Ninja EX250 FI and like the look of it.

Looking at this picture of the rear wheel it looks like it has seen a lot of wear for 4,400kms...does it looks like the "careful lady owner" has been doing burn-outs to anybody else? Was thinking I might be being paranoid and it could be road dust, but there is no such on the front wheel...

I think that comes down to it being newer, and it has those mods... Are the mods and year worth it to you? If not save a bit of cash and get a bit older one http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-714521540.htm

Better value IMO, but I don't think the 1st one is an outrageous price, but you will loose at least a grand if you sell when you get your full. An older one not so much.

I have literally no idea. The fact that it comes with all the original parts is of more value to me...if I were to damage the exhaust/muffler I can just put the stock one back on when I come to sell etc etc.

After having viewed it I'm not so keen though, and the seller was a bit of a bitch so I didn't want to part with my money anyway...

Motorcycle purchased. Shoop da fuckin' woop.

I found that a decent 250cc bike from Auckland and North was pushing prices to $5000 and above.

I then got bored of visiting TradeMe sellers who had (in my opinion) over estimated the value of their rides and wouldn't budge on price. Even more bored of getting blank looks when asking about what essential maintenance had been performed and when - including one total douchebag who tried to tell me that there was no need to replace the oil filter on his Kawi Ninja 250. What a bellend.

So I just went and bought a new bike.

The only thing I'm not too keen on is the exhaust, and I'm planning on getting a better one once I have some free funds. Everything else sweet as a nut.
