I've been using 1 of these for a few years now and they're great. Nice and wide so the bike doesn't fall off the side of it. Go halfs with someone and it's ridiculously cheap.

If you're going that route, I'd suggest waiting for a special from Repco (think one might be on now).
There is one for $100-120, 340kg limit, about 2m long (so slightly longer), 30cm (fractionally wider) but very handy, it's curved at the top. It won't fold flat, but it's better for belly fairings, particularly sportsbikes. Still folds in half.

Actually, now that I remember it, check any fine print in ramp paperwork. The Repco ramp mentions 700mm loading height limit, which is actually not that high. Trailers should be fine, low utes, but regular 4WD utes may void warranty blah blah.
