    AC/DC out of action

hard to believe it, but as you may have heard this week ac/dc has had to put future plans on hold due to malcom young being ill. some media (mostly australian) announced this week that the band has totally ceased, due to malcom having had a stroke, leaving a blood clot and him unable to play his guitar when they started to rehearse for the announced 40 date '40th anniversary tour'. but the bands facebook page says that a member is unwell but the band intends to continue making music, so fuck knows where the media got all that extra info from, secret source? or out their arse? time will tell i guess.

damn shame if theyre unable to do the 40th tour, maybe stevie young could stand in again? no one even twigged last time they did that coz he looked the same on stage at a distance

any ac/dc bangers in the house?

One of the few bands to ever wear steel cap boots on stage. (late 70's oz concert)
Theres a challenge for someone to find pics of that.

Brian Johnson is good up front, but my soul is linked to Bonn.

yeah man, Bon is the main man! but that new guy has done allright (34 years and counting lol) gotta say a world tour must be hard on brian..his voice is strained to hell and being a lifetime smoker is bound to make it a struggle to belt them out the way he does

...'75, outside gig northern NSW...they just happened to be in the same place at the same time I was, had no idea who they were, but a few screaming young girls were milling about and I stayed to check out their tits and bums under the cover of some rock'n'roll...I was 17 and didn't know shit...I saw them around the UK a bit during the eighties, they seemed to head up every 2nd big concert that played around the traps...at Reading I saw them with Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzie on the same bill...
