Keep to your lines, don't look back, you'd be fine. They'll pass.

Unfortunatly you wont find a permited track day there since the circuit has been 'modified' making it too dangerous to run motorcycle events.

They are still running test days on Saturdays a couple of times a month but not too much run off anywhere so not as safe as it used to be. Take your time though and you will be safe enough. about $90 a day i think.

I've heard it's now rather crap. They've done the same thing over here with Wanneroo - keep on putting in walls for the V8's, which make it f*cking dangerous for bikes - there have been several deaths over here thanks to these walls removing run off areas.......

Look for "Controlled Testing" on this calenday http://www.countiesracing.co.nz/motor-racing/13/

They run both cars and bikes on the same day but different sessions. No groups. I went and watched a couple of mates do one a few months a go. Because there are no groups you had race spec superbikes flying past learners on 250s. Not exactly safe but I don't think there were any incidents all day.

Here is a video from that day to give you an idea of what it is like.

And if I had bothered to read your post properly I would have seen you were already aware of these days

Question on the Puke Days, there doesnt seem to be much in the way of safety requirements? There site says leathers and I emailed them and they said I need a helmet. I do track days so obviously have all that with back protector etc. But does anybody know the rules if there are any?

And do you just turn up and go for it? Is there scrutinering?

    Just turn up.
No scrutineering. But if you are dropping bits, someone may dob you in and get you kicked out, if they feel like it.
You're responsible for your own safety (I like that maturity), but I doubt they'd let you in with jeans.
    Yep, you need helmet.

Cool. A mate wants to come but he only has textiles so ive told him to get/borrow leathers. I have full leathers that zip together, back protector etc. Its a fast track so if I slide I would like to keep my skin attached thank you very much.
