Hi guys,

I'm french and a quite young biker, 2 years of license, and finally bought a bike a few months ago.
I'm planning a visit in Auckland in july and have been wondering if it'd be doable to hire a bike to go touring for a few days.
So i'd have a few questions :
- How's usually the weather like in july?
- Which would be the best (and not too expensive) way of hiring a bike?
- Got any advice on where to go for nice rides on north island?

It might be quite wet and a bit cooler in June.

6 months later or more would be better.

Our weather is the opposite of yours, so July is summer for you, it's winter for us. Severity of weather depends where in the country you are. The deeper south you go, the colder and more snow you get.
