Talking New member in Christchurch. Hello everyone! (David_M)

    Hello folks,

Name is David, I have been living in Christchurch for almost 2 years now. Moved over from Ireland (Co.Kerry). I work in the scaffolding business.
I have always had a great interest in bikes. I have owned bikes most of my life, I have toured all of Ireland and UK following bike rallies and road racing.Had to part with my Honda Blackbird before moving here .I filled this void a few weeks ago and purchased another Blackbird . (with the permission of the misses....who is partial to the Blackbird herself and many a rally!! ).

I am keen to meet up with like minded people. I am up for short spins, overnight trips and the odd bike rally. I look forward to exploring the roads on my latest purchase.

I prefer to keep it legal on the road!! But now and again the Blackbird takes hold...you know yourselfs!!

Anybody out there thats interested in meeting up for a blast at the weekends..weather permitting...drop me a message!!

    Good luck

    Welcome to KB and NZ.
Don't let the blackbird take hold on any part of the Akaroa GP road as im told a certain rusty cat lurks out that way on a regular basis.

On another note - get rid of the fuggin blue type.

hey dave, whats the craic? good bike you have and loads of cool rides out of chch, akaroa is ok for a coffee but further afeild is where its at. greymouth street races are on in october (labour weekend is a bank holiday monday) book a room at revingtons hotel (cheap and out dated but comfy) and youll have easy access to the racing as well as a bike garage if your in quick.

To ZZR_Lover, cool that you are coming to Christchurch. There is some great bikes routes and even better weather. You will like it. Be sure to keep in touch. Give me a shout when you arrive in Christchurch. Do you do the rallies at home?

    Good Luck
