Hey I have a ZXR250 and its the closest thing to actual power on a 250 LAMS bike you'll get.

I love mine and wouldn't change for anything else but my CBR600 that I've got my eye on.

But bear in mind that it is an old bike. So unless you want to spend big $$ you best know something about bikes. Watch the carbs that's what went poof in mine and I managed to find a second hand set.
Also you'll need to deal with nearly every mechanic telling you to sell it and get something newer. People don't seem to like working on old bikes. Remember nothing is made for these bikes anymore, so its either second hand parts or pay through the nose and hope the factory has something lying around.

Best summer tire for it is the sportsmax 18" absolutely sexy. And in the wet commuting the bt-45 if you can find it with a shallow profile. With having an 18" rear you can't buy shit stuff for it.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

I'd actually be concerned that the only bit of info about the bike in the advert was that it revs out to 18,000rpm. Sort of suggests the current owner went there pretty often. Hmm, pretty bike but 'not touching it with a barge-pole' would be my response (but then again I'm a soft-cock nana with a severe risk-aversion when it comes to money)
18,000rpm worries me because only restricted ones rev to 18, the rest redline at 19

Not that it matters, as it has peaked well before either of those figures

Not like any ZXR owner would admit it though?
