In related news, the japanese defence minister announced japan would be harvesting whales for research into a whale based bomb after watching this.

I watched that as I ate my breakfast. Where's the disgusting part?

The bit where the insides suddenly were on the outside was cool. Hmmmm tasty!

Theres a blue whale on a shore somewhere in Canada waiting for this. Reckoned they didn't have the 'equipment' to do it so last I read they're all humming and harring while it grows bigger XD

And yeah, like smoke I watched while eating :P Ain't that bad. Not like you can smell it.

It's a pretty common deal in some parts of the world. It all went horribly wrong with one years ago when some geniuses decided that TNT would be the best way to deal it...beside a town...

Every now and then I see that vid. It was freaken awesome.

They'd never blown up a whale before, no idea what kind of quantity of explosive they'd need, so packed it full. In slow mo, the shockwave can be seen heading outwards. Blew it to smithereens, except then gravity brought all the pieces back to earth, and it was raining whale carcass. Some chunks still enormous and they wrote off a few cars.

The intended audience, birds, were scared away by the blast so never ate it and the whole lot was buried with a bulldozer anyway

TNT job was impressive. One worked in beef slaughterhouse 630 beasts a day so first one was just terrible, reminded me of work

Anyhoo don't forget to add to calendar 19th May, 27th July, and 31 August.
World whisky day, International whisky day, and Scotch whisky day.
