    Angry Suzuki Street Magic, Heeeeeeeelllllppp!

    Hi all,

I have just replaced the cylinder and piston on my Suzuki Street magic and Im having trouble getting it running...
If I try and kick start it the engine doesn't fire, however if I remove the spark plug and inject some fuel directly into the cylinder the bike fires, revs quite high and then cuts out after about 2 seconds.
I've checked the fuel lines and they're clear, carb has been cleaned also so I don't know why it wont start???

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

so i assume its a gravity feed fuel system with manual fuel tap?

If there is a leaky gasket say under the barrel its a part of the induction system and may be why its high revving then quitting

It's revving high and quitting because he's put raw fuel into the cyl and as soon as that's all burnt off it's dying. Fuel supply problem.
