Hi, up for sale is my BMW F650ST (strada). This is the model that is nearly the same as the funduro, but with a smaller front wheel and a couple of cosmetic differences.
NZ New in 1997
Single Cylinder, 48HP (more than a CBR250rr) and LAMS approved / learner legal with heaps of torque
Has been used as a daily commuter and heaps of work done on it in the last year as per below:
June 2013 - oil and filter, front brake pads - cyclespot
September 2013 - new chain and sprockets - cyclespot
November 2013 oil and filter, new BT45 tyres, changed Regulator/rectifier, air filter and wheel bearings - George the motorcycle doctor
April 2014 - fork seals and all exhaust gaskets replaced - Ebb's motorcycles
Current wof til 18th June from memory, Rego on hold (negotiable however). Won't have a problem with the WOF
It could do with an oil and filter change in the next 2000km, but apart from that should be good to go.
Don't be put off by the km's - there is another similar one on trademe at 122,000km, these engines have been known to do well over 160,000km without rebuilds.
Has OEM BMW rear box and pannier holders, BMW heated grips and hand guards. Even has a clock! The screen is aftermarket from the UK (cost a pretty penny!) that directs air off the body, and mirror are aftermarket - I have the ones that were on the bike when I bought it, and will sell with the bike - they looked very average and old, bit of rust!
