    2014/5 cbr650f

Following on from the 2014 VFR800 thread

    http://powersports.honda.com/2014/cbr650f.aspx

461 lbs wet weight (that's 209kg in english) - like.
Inline four - like (thank god it's not a parallel twin).
    Digital tach - ugh.
Looks - quite like it based on what I can see so far. Looks like a piece of origami. Not as cool as some bikes, but decent looks out of the current 'super techy' look that bikes have these days.

    Power is (Edit - 87hp)
Wonder if honda will bring it here - and price it competitively? Can but hope.

It should come here, I imagine it's the replacement for the CB600F... but priced competitively?

The CB600F was also a nice bike, but at least it had cheaper rego. I do have to wonder whether it puts people off, buying a 650 and paying "big bike" rego? I solved that simply by riding a 1200...

I dunno - it's 'only' an extra $120/year. If you can figure that vs other costs, the purchase cost of the bike etc, it might work out.
