    Thumbs up Sena SMH10

After trying to get an intercom through my local dealer with very limited success, I decided to do the eBay thing and ordered a Sena SMH10. What an absolute pleasure, pairing with my phone took all of 30 seconds but most importantly, my 7 ½ year old could talk with me on her first real ride. Went for a little 10 km ride and I could hear her confidence growing just being able to talk to me. Sound quality was great and there was almost no wind noise at all. Would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone taking their kids for rides. Now just to get used to her singing while i am riding

Great, aren't they? Good range, superbly clear and last for at least 9 or 10 hours of continuous operation. The big jog dial is really good with winter gloves. Had mine for 2 years with only one mishap. Broke one of the connector pins when being a bit ham- fisted. I can probably bodge it but have bought another unit and will use the other as a back up when fixed.

Have you registered it and downloaded the latest firmware? In theory, it should pair with at least some of the other makes. Haven't actually bothered to try yet.

    Good choice!

I bought a pair last year so I could communicate with my SpousalUnit when pillioning her. Then she bought a Golf Cabriolet, so she doesn't ride with me any more, so she's never used it.
But (however) I use it every day, to listen to music streamed from my cellphone on the way to/from work.
I've also got a Sena SM10, which you can use to connect to a GPS, radarlaser detector, radio, walkman, or whatever, and stream it in stereo to two SMH10 headsets. It's waterproof, and straps to the handlebars or knob, or goes in your tankbag, or whatever. Never used it (apart from testing); does anyone want to buy it? Still new in the box.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
