What rates as comedy these days

Lemony Snickets - read that it's good flick, but the synopsis is a shocker.

Tis good, as something light hearted and different, remembering that it is a kids film. Especially good for the amazing sets and scenery. Can recommend as one to watch if you are looking for something easy, or if you want something for younger viewers that isnt going to bore you to death. The plot isnt outstanding, but you get some good one liners from the youngest kid (speaks in ga-ga language but they are kind enough to subtitle it for those of us who dont speak it ourselves). Ending is a bit naff tho.

Some big name actors in it, but the kids are the highlight of the show.
